Spoon Sports Stiff Plate, Front - N-ONE / Super-N JG3 JG6

We have been testing the new generation K-Sports N-ONE in various scenarios, including on circuits, streets, and winding roads.

The N-ONE has high body rigidity and feels solid on the street, but on circuits and winding roads, we noticed a decrease in steering responsiveness and instability during braking.

After various tests, we found that reinforcing the area around the front subframe dramatically improved handling, so we developed stiff plates, similar to those used for the S660 and FK Civic.

Reinforcement is generally done by adding bars, but bar reinforcement is linear in one direction. However, cars are subjected to inputs from multiple directions, and suppressing all of these bending and twisting requires a complex layout of multiple bars, which increases weight.

Stiff plates can reinforce multiple mounting points across a surface, so they can provide reinforcement against inputs from various angles with minimal weight increase, dramatically improving bending and torsional rigidity. The

stiff plates for the N-ONE have a truss shape applied to areas where strength is needed to efficiently ensure strength, and we succeeded in increasing the lateral load capacity by more than 2 tons compared to the normal plate.

The material is 2.0mm thick JSC780 ultra-high-tensile steel, and the surface treatment is the same cationic treatment as the genuine part.

Install the stiff plates and experience firmer, smoother handling than that of a regular car.

We have been testing new generation K-Sports N-one in various conditions such as circuit, street, and winding road.

Despite high body rigidity and rather steady feel in the street conditions, we felt the decreased steering response and some instability with braking on winding roads and circuit.

Various tests showed that reinforcing the circumference of the front subframe improves handling, that led us to developing the stiff plate similar to S660 and FK CIVIC ones.

While it is common to add a bar for reinforcement, it generally works in one direction. Any car, however, has inputs from multiple directions, which makes it necessary to add several bars in a specific way, that obviously results in an increased weight.

STIFF PLATE collects and reinforces multiple mounting points on its surface which allows to improve the torsional rigid weightity and bending with minimum increase.

N-ONE STIFF PLATE's truss shape is applied exactly where the extra strength is required, improving the lateral load capacity by over two tons compared to normal.

Made of 2.0mm high tensile steel with genuine like cation treated surface.
