Spoon Sports
We're dedicated to enhancing Honda vehicles' performance through innovative engineering and meticulous attention to detail. Our philosophy centers on developing components that seamlessly integrate with Honda's design, ensuring both functionality and superior driving experience.
Aerodynamic Components
Balancing downforce and drag is crucial for effective aerodynamic performance. Leveraging extensive racing experience and advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), we design aero parts that optimize this balance. Each prototype undergoes rigorous track testing to validate its performance, aiming to enhance cornering stability under diverse conditions.
Braking Systems
In high-performance driving, braking efficiency is paramount. Our calipers are crafted using precision aluminum forging, featuring a four-piece opposed monocoque structure with variable diameter pistons. This design enhances rigidity, reduces drag torque, and minimizes uneven brake pad wear, allowing drivers to confidently approach braking points and experience the true essence of sports driving.
Drive Shafts
Achieving a smooth and robust driving experience necessitates superior drive shafts. Our components exhibit significantly higher rotational accuracy than standard versions. Each part is meticulously polished to a mirror finish, improving lubrication efficiency and reducing vibration. This process also prevents metal fatigue, enhancing durability and ensuring a refined driving feel.
Throttle Bodies
Since the 1980s, we have pioneered the enlargement of throttle body diameters in our racing vehicles. By maximizing the throttle butterfly diameter, refining the inner body surface to a mirror finish, and redesigning the geometry to capitalize on the Venturi effect, we have increased intake airflow. This commitment to innovation, free from conventional constraints, drives us to continually improve vehicle performance.
Head Gaskets
In high-revving Honda engines, maintaining combustion chamber integrity is essential. At engine speeds exceeding 9,000 rpm, micro-vibrations can occur in the cylinder walls due to differing thermal expansion rates of steel and aluminum components. Our advanced gasket designs address these challenges, ensuring airtight seals under extreme conditions and preserving engine performance.
