Spoon's slotted brake rotor uses four straight slits that rotate at different angles when engaged, reducing pad wear and judder caused by the slits. The rotor surface and pad surface are made uniform, bringing out the properties of the brake pad, reducing heat load even at high temperatures and high loads, reducing rotor collapse and providing good pedal feeling. The material is high carbon.
